It has been some time since we had a get together; in order to maintain and enhance the fellowship amongst members we are pleased to advise you that the British Deputy High Commissioner (Mr. John Anthony Tucknott, MBE) has kindly agreed to host members of the Oxford & Cambridge Society, Karachi (with spouses) at Acton House on Tuesday, 11th March, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. In order to be able to send you the invitation card, please respond to this email with your full postal address and phone numbers. You will appreciate that the British Deputy High Commission is a high security venue hence only those guests carrying the actual invitation card will be allowed entry. We look forward to your response and confirmation to attend this event.

We also take this opportunity to inform you that the annual Blues' Ball fundraiser which has became an established event in the Karachi Ball calendar will be held at Acton House on Saturday, 29th March, 2014. The pattern of the Ball is similar to previous years with excellent food, music and entertainment, not to mention an exquisite and highly secure environment. Kindly mark your calendars accordingly.
